Orlando Day 1

Well we have finally arrived in Florida after an 8 hour flight from Hawaii to Dallas Texas - It twas quite bumpy in parts, especially when we were coming into Dallas and surrounding areas.

Then we had a 1 1/2 hour wait at the airport so it was just enough time to go to Starbucks and grab a latte.  It was only a 2 hour flight to Florida but boy was it a bumpy bumpy ride.  Turbulence seemed to go on for most of the flight.

We got a taxi at the airport to take us to the resort.  It was so funny because the taxi driver asked us our names and when Mick said his name the taxi driver said " oh Mick Dundee " and for a joke we said it was his cousin - the guy was sooo impressed he thought he really was his cousin - so we had to tell him its just a joke,

O M G - can this place get any bigger - it is 135 acres and it has 1800 rooms with 8 pools and god knows what else as we havent been able to explore the area yet.

Our unit is really spacious, with  everything that we will need for the stay, even a washing machine and dryer.

I know that the wallpaper and tiles are a bit out dated, but the unit is huge with everything we will need, there is a market place just across from our unit which we can buy coffee and milk and bread, so I think we are going to be fine.
