Kennedy Space Centre

Today the bus picked us up at 7am and took us to Kennedy Space Centre.

It's about 45 minutes drive from here but we had to pick other people up so it took a bit longer.  Our first call was at the Hall of fame which was really good - it told us all about the astronaughts.  We then went and watched a short movie in the Imax 3d theatre which was really good. 

The we caught another bus and went to 3 different stations - we could spend as much time as we wanted at each one and when we were ready we just got on another bus to the next stop.

We saw the voyager space shuttle which is ready to launch on the 14th of this month so to be able to see it on the launch pad was pretty good.

There was so much to see and do that the day went quite quickly - back on the bus at 5.45 for the trip home and we were dropped off at the hotel at about 7.  I am glad that we did it early on in our stay because I didn't want to miss it so it was better to do it first, tomorrow we will probably go to Downtown Disney for a look around.  This is so much bigger than Disneyland it makes it harder to get around but it still is great and we are hoping to go to Epcot on Wednesday and do the fireworks show that night.

Have just tried out the spa in the bathroom - omg you could fit the neighbours next door in it - it's so bit but it was great.
